Net Conversion has promoted Joshuah Rodery to chief financial officer, seven months after he joined the company as vice president of finance. The promotion is the latest marker in a growth year for the independent agency, which has added three plum media AOR assignments over the past year (Winn-Dixie, Evermore Orlando Resorts, HealthyPaws) and announced its first Midwest office, in Chicago.

“Joshuah walked in the door and immediately started building the financial backbone this agency needs for where we’re headed. We’re growing fast, but growth only works when the numbers keep up,” said Fitzgerald.
In his initial months, Rodery, who reports to co-founder and CEO Ryan Fitzgerald, has rebuilt the agency’s financial engine, overhauling planning and reporting, tightening how cash moves through the agency’s media buying, and partnering with executive leadership to drive significant year-over-year growth in adjusted earnings.
“Joshuah walked in the door and immediately started building the financial backbone this agency needs for where we’re headed,” said Fitzgerald. “We’re growing fast, but growth only works when the numbers keep up. In his new role, his impact will continue to build our path forward.”
Rodery came to Net Conversion from Commonwealth Fusion Systems where he built the management accounting team, led company through three consecutive clean audits with PwC and U.S. Department of Energy, and identified and executed studies that generated $300+ million in tax credit value.
“Net Conversion competes with agencies many times its size, and my job is to make sure our financial operations give us that same edge,” said Rodery. “My role is to build the kind of infrastructure that lets an independent agency move even faster.”
Rodery has 17+ years of experience leading finance through hypergrowth, turnarounds and change, from a $2 billion enterprise to founder-led companies scaling past nine figures in annual revenue. Earlier in his career, Rodery held CEO, President, and Vice President of Enterprise roles at Captivea USA. He holds a degree from Harvard University.
