SFR Sport Rolls

When the shipment arrives, all packaging and labels should be intact. After seven days, remove the roll from any shipping cradles, pallets, etc. and store lying down. The evening before installation, unroll the material, shake it out, and lie flat— this helps the material stretch out. Next, the project manager should inspect the merchandise for order correctness and defects. Report discrepancies immediately. Once everything is ready, the project manager must follow appropriate installation procedures. Afterwards, it’s up to the owner to ensure employees follow maintenance procedures.

Cleaning Procedures

Initial

Dust mop, sweep, or vacuum to remove any debris, grit, sand, or surface soil

Use a low-speed rotary scrubber or an auto scrubber with a microfiber mop, pad, or soft nylon brush to apply E-cleaner according to the manual’s dilution chart

Use a wet vacuum to remove E-cleaner, rinse with clean water, and let dry for 6-8 hours

Daily/Regular

Dust mop, sweep, or vacuum to remove any debris, grit, sand, or surface soil

Either dampen with a microfiber mop or use a low-speed rotary scrubber or an auto scrubber with a microfiber mop, pad, or soft nylon brush to apply E-cleaner according to the dilution chart

Heavy Soil

Use a higher concentration of E-Cleaner

If no change, proceed to restorative maintenance.

Restorative Maintenance

Remove loose soil by sweeping or vacuuming

Heavily scrub the floor with E-Strip using the same methods used for E-Cleaner

Remove the solution with a wet vacuum

Rinse with clean water

Allow thorough drying

SFR Interlocking Tiles

The project manager should visually inspect tiles for defects and correctness. Rigid sheeting can help prevent buckling when moving heavy equipment, and extra padding is recommended for free-weight areas as the tiles are the minimum thickness. Do not expose tiles to chemicals, fuels, oils, significant temperature fluctuations, or solvents. The flooring area should be watertight and climate controlled to 65℉, 18℃ for 48 hours before installation. Once the temperature is achieved, unpack the tiles and allow them to sit in the area for 48 hours before installation. Workers should maintain this temperature through and after installation. Install atop concrete or wood subfloors; or firmly adhere to resilient flooring like ceramic tile, laminate, linoleum, vinyl, or wood. The project manager should ensure workers follow proper installation protocols.
