The new channel features highly-curated foreign films and TV programs.

FreeCast and Globi are announcing a partnership to bring Globi’s free channel to the FreeCast service. Long known for its content aggregation platform, FreeCast has been consistently adding linear channels to its service and now boasts one of the largest free channel offering on the internet, with over 800 streaming channels. That offering continues to grow with the addition of Globi, and more channel deals in the works.

Globi is a curated channel offering high-quality foreign content to North American audiences. Its programming includes Oscar and Emmy award-winning films and television programs from over 20 countries, most of which are exclusive to Globi.

Tracy West, FreeCast’s Executive Vice President of Digital Content and Channel Distribution, discussed the appeal of Globi’s content to FreeCast’s customers: “There’s a lot of excellent content from around the world, most of which is relatively untapped by American audiences. Our low-cost web distribution is a technology that makes that type of content more accessible. Globi is a perfect partner to take advantage of that, and our diverse customer base is an ideal audience for them.”

“We are excited to be joining FreeCast as we know our audience will have an easy and innovative way to access our content.  We also believe FreeCast will provide us with a new audience that will be just as loyal as the current one,” said Globi CEO Tariq Jalil.
