HIGH POINT – Fiber-based internet service Lumos will expand its network to Wilmington and New Hanover County as part of a $56 million expansion effort, the High Point-based company announced Tuesday.
Engineering work will begin in mid-2023, the company says.
The network plan includes Carolina Beach, Ogden, Myrtle Grove, Castle Hayne and Wrightsboro.
In January Lumos announced a $100 million expansion to provide service in South Carolina’s Richland and Lexington Counties.
