WRAL TechWire talked with CEO David Morken about the company’s finances ahead of today’s dedication for its new Raleigh headquarters.
- Given what Bandwidth reported this week, what do you see as the big opportunities going forward?
The profound technological change in how we communicate is accelerating, and Bandwidth remains at the forefront. No company in our space has Bandwidth’s unique combination of assets or our award-winning level of customer service.
Our key opportunity going forward is to help the very largest global companies make the jump to cloud-based communications, using Bandwidth innovations to power their voice, text messaging and emergency calling needs for uses like banking, e-commerce, healthcare patient engagement, and many more.
- What are the biggest challenges that Bandwidth must address?
We’re proud of how well we’re executing this year in a choppy commercial environment, demonstrating solid business performance and financial results while serving our customers and earning their trust and loyalty.
Our biggest challenge going forward is to maintain our strong focus on disciplined execution and expanded profitability while continuing to grow our global reach and invest in innovation–all for the benefit of our customers.
