Badkoobeh, Where Stories Make the Future

There is no denying that in today’s world, advertising is indispensable to every business sector. In Iran, like in anywhere else in the world, advertising has become a key investment for every brand. As a result, the need for smart, innovative and result-driven advertising solutions and strategies is felt more than ever.

Among current Iranian ad agencies, Badkoobeh Creative Communication Solutions is an excellent example of a successful creative agency. Badkoobeh was founded by Mohamadreza Badkoobeh, an Iranian film producer and director, in 1995. The agency is based in Tehran but it has two branch offices in Canada (WeFX) and Dubai (Toranj Agency). WeFX, which specializes in production, collaborates with top companies like Disney and Netflix whereas Toranj Agency works with multinational brands.

Since its inception, Badkoobeh has built, developed and promoted over 200 Iranian brands. MobinNet, MCI, Mellat Bank, Day Insurance, Hofmann UPVC Profile, Refah Kargaran Bank, Bank Melli Iran, Telecommunication Company of Iran, Post Bank of Iran, Shahrzad Tea, Kerman Motor, Saharkhiz, Mak Pasta, Snowa, Kachiran Sewing, Shouder, My Lady, and CAN Home Appliances are examples of Badkoobeh’s Iranian clients.

In addition to Iranian brands, Badkoobeh Agency has collaborated with many international brands like LG, Unilever, Nestle, Samsung, Beko, Cif, Domestos, Schauma (operating under Henkel) and many more. So far, the agency has received two world first awards for LG TV Commercials in addition to various awards from domestic and international branding and advertising forums, festivals and conferences.

While the main focus of the agency is on business advertising, it collaborates with many Iranian and international NGOs like UNICEF, Iran Autism Association, Mahak Society to Support Children with Cancer, Kahrizak Charity Foundation, and Iranian Society of Organ Donations, to name but a few.

About two years ago, inasmuch as a reliable and scientific source for advertising and branding was felt missing in Iran, Badkoobeh Agency established a specialized communication, advertising and branding school. The purpose of Badkoobeh School is to educate people working in the advertising sector. In addition, in the past two years, Badkoobeh Publication has translated and published five bestsellers in advertising in addition to eight volumes of Badkoobeh Specialized Quarterly Periodical.

Hofmann’s 2022 advertising campaign entitled ‘Dust-free’ is an example of the big projects done by Badkoobeh. The TVC of the campaign, which is the first full CG Iranian, could win the attention of industry experts in Iran and other countries.
