1. Pressure difference caused by the inside and outside of the retarder

In the enclosed retarder, the friction between each two transmission gears generates heat. According to Boyle’s law, the temperature in the retarder box slowly rises with the increase of the running time, while the volume in the retarder box will not change. Therefore, with the increase of the working pressure of the case body, the lubricating grease on the case body splashes out and sprinkles on the inner cavity of the speed reduction surface.
