Ukrainian Community in New York Pays Tribute to Heroes and Supports Compatriots

New York, NY – The Ukrainian Business Community “Board New York,” led by Alexei Beletsky, former Olympic participant and figure skating luminary, joined forces with Lana Brooks and her group “Refugees from Ukraine in New York” to honor Ukraine’s heroes with a minute of silence and to extend support to their compatriots.

In a heartfelt gathering, more than 100 individuals came together at the iconic Wollman Rink in Central Park, graciously granted time and special accommodations for Ukrainian children. This historic rink, renowned worldwide, opened its doors to our community, reflecting the spirit of unity and solidarity.

The event was made possible through the generous support of partners such as the Ukrainian National Federal Credit Union, led by Yuri Bayurak, and the media backing of DK media company, founded by Dmitry Kulibabin. Their unwavering commitment to our cause exemplifies the power of collaboration in times of need.
