Twisted Lipsticks Unveils Hilarious Toy Drive Comedy Show to Brighten Lives

In partnership with Women In Need (Win), the largest shelter provider to families experiencing homelessness in New York, Twisted Lipsticks endeavors to make a meaningful impact. Christine Quinn, President and CEO of Win, shared her thoughts on the importance of the toy drive: 

“This winter, nearly 30,000 children will be calling a DHS shelter home for the holidays. At Win, we prioritize programming that allows children experiencing housing instability to enjoy their childhoods. Kids deserve the opportunity to celebrate the magic and warmth of the holiday season, and the toy drive will help create lasting memories for these children and their families. We are grateful for the generosity of the donors that make this incredible program possible!”

Adding a touch of inspiration to the cause is a heartfelt quote from Comedian Jevon Johnson, who passionately stated, “I feel that God gives us blessings, in order for us to share them with others. That’s my inspiration for showing up and showing out for the residents of this Women In Need homeless shelter during the holidays. What greater way to show gratitude for your God-given talent than to use it to bring happiness to someone dealing with pain or sadness?”

The Toy Drive Comedy Show is set to be an evening of laughter, community, and giving back. The event encourages attendees to contribute new, unwrapped toys to benefit the children in the Women In Need Shelter.
