Thryv’s Newest AI Tool Helps Small Businesses Respond to Online Reviews in Seconds

With AI Review Response, SMBs can easily enhance their online reputation

Thryv®, the leading do-it-all small business software platform, launched Thryv AI Review Response, an addition to its platform that allows businesses to quickly and easily respond to positive and negative feedback on Google Business Profile business listings, YP.com, Trustpilot, and 20 other popular review sites.

“Reviews play a critical role in consumer purchase-intent. They are particularly important for small businesses that rely on their reputation and word of mouth, not a large marketing budget, to grow their customer base”

“Reviews play a critical role in consumer purchase-intent. They are particularly important for small businesses that rely on their reputation and word of mouth, not a large marketing budget, to grow their customer base,” said Rees Johnson, Chief Product Officer of Thryv. “Thryv AI Review Response helps small businesses with limited resources maintain the high level of online engagement needed to build customer loyalty and trust.”

How It Works

Thryv aggregates reviews from over 24 popular review sites into one view. When someone leaves feedback about the client’s business on a review site, clients can use AI Review Response by clicking the AI wand that instantly generates three review responses. They then select the response they like best out of the three options, or they can request more response options to choose from. After adjusting the message to match their brand voice (or leaving it as is), they simply hit “reply.”

The impact of generative AI in reducing friction in the review response process can be powerful, particularly considering Yext research that shows that overall, 69% of customers expect a response within a week.

Why Reviews Matter

Positive reviews play a major role in buyer behavior: 95 percent of consumers read online reviews before they shop and 58 percent say they would pay more for the products of a brand with good reviews.2 However, it’s not just the accumulation of positive reviews that matters. Authenticity counts. Sixty-four percent of people would prefer to buy from a responsive company than from one with a perfect rating a Trustpilot survey found.3

Thryv AI Review Response is the latest addition to Thryv’s growing AI-powered offerings, including the recently released AI-enhanced Social Media Management Tool and the Pro Campaign Editor that comes with a built-in AI assistant for copywriting email campaigns.
