SPUN Adds Four Features to Simplify Online Visa Application to Indonesia

The Indonesian online visa platform has introduced four new features; personalized document checklist, bulk document upload with automatic classification, integrated travel add-ons at checkout and a VIP concierge upgrade, simplifying the paperwork process for travelers visiting Indonesia, including Bali.

JAKARTA, Indonesia – October 14, 2026 – SPUN Global, a digital visa platform founded in Indonesia in 2023, introduced four features added in recent months to make an online visa application to Indonesia simpler. The new features cover key automation steps before submission, from generating personalized document checklists for applicants to purchasing travel add-ons in a single checkout. SPUN Global provides visa assistance to travelers of all eligible nationalities visiting Indonesia, including Bali.

One of the key features introduced by SPUN is Personalized Document Checklist, which tailors the required documents to each applicant’s information, including their age, employment status and personal circumstances. Based on the information provided, the platform generates a personalized checklist showing exactly which documents each applicant needs. For example, an employed applicant may need an employment letter, while a homemaker may not. Meanwhile, a child may need a sponsorship or a guarantee letter.

The Bulk Upload & Document Classifier allows applicants to upload several documents at once. The system automatically identifies and categorizes files, such as passports, bank statements and flight tickets. It then fills in the visa application form from the uploaded documents, which reduces manual data entry and the risk of typos or incorrect information.

“Across more than 400 visa types, document requirements vary not only by destination, but also by each applicant’s circumstances, and a generic checklist cannot capture that,” said Christa Sabathaly, CEO and co-founder of SPUN Global. “Tailoring the checklist to each profile and reading uploaded documents automatically removes two steps where applicants previously had to guess or re-enter information.” Sabathaly added.

Alongside its core visa services, SPUN Global has also added several travel-related add-ons to its checkout, including travel insurance, electronic SIM cards, temporary flight and hotel bookings, and document translation, so customers no longer need to place a separate order for each. For applicants who need extra support, SPUN Global offers an optional VIP Service upgrade that connects them directly with a dedicated concierge team through a private Whatsapp group. This service is useful for busy travelers, families or groups, and those who are less familiar with digital processes.

“The visa is now one item in a checkout that can also include travel insurance, an electronic SIM, temporary flight and hotel bookings and document translation,” Sabathaly said. “Customers who used to place those as separate orders add them in one step, and applicants who want hands-on help have a direct line to a concierge team.”

SPUN manages the application digitally, including document checks, online consultations, appointment assistance and status updates. Visa requirements are available on the platform, so applicants do not need to check several embassy websites for the latest rules. Its services include AI-powered document checking, free consultation with visa experts, a money-back guarantee on its service fee and a 100% online process for several visa types. Following its $1.8 million seed funding round led by Genesia Ventures in January 2026, SPUN Global will continue to develop and enhance its platform. Travelers planning to apply for an Indonesian visa can visit SPUN Global’s Indonesia visa page for more information.
