Sarasota Family Law Attorney Welcomes Johanne Valois Shoffstall, J.D.

Loftus Law, Sarasota family law attorney, is pleased to welcome Johanne Valois Shoffstall, J.D., who joined the legal team in 2022. The semi-retired attorney has a legal representation history dating back to April 1994 when she was licensed by the Florida Bar. She has mainly practiced in the field of family law in the Tampa Bay area. In 2009, she began working as a qualified parenting coordinator for the 13th Judicial Circuit and also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator. 

In 2015 she obtained an LL.M in Advocacy. In 2018 she obtained the additional certification of Divorce Coach. She also became a Guardian Ad Litem. She relocated to Manatee County and largely focused on Guardian Ad Litem work. 

Johanne Valois Shoffstall and Ms Loftus met in 2020 while Johanne was appointed as Guardian Ad Litem on a Sarasota County case in which Leslie was counsel for one of the parties. Her handling of the particularly challenging case developed professional respect and admiration. Two years later, the two attorneys started working together.
