Ross Campbell Releases “Beyond Pentatonic Blues Guitar” via GuitarVivo

Ross Campbell is an internationally recognized guitar performer and instructor. Ross recently launched his first instructional guitar book for intermediate and advanced guitarists titled “Beyond Pentatonic Blues Guitar”, published by GuitarVivo.

The “barriers to entry” to the world of blues music have been breached when Ross Campbell, a prolific performing guitarist, and online educator released his first book, “Beyond Pentatonic Blues Guitar”. In this blues guitar book, Ross dissects difficult but essential concepts, provides an abundance of practical tips, and gives the reader insights into the best-kept secrets in this genre of music.

In addition to his work as a guitar instructor, Ross Campbell spends much of his time as a session musician in Scotland. He has worked with numerous high-profile acts, including Scottish solo artist Annie Booth and Ali & The Parade. Ross Campbell has also performed and recorded with Jordan Harvey, a Scottish-born and now Nashville-based artist famous for hits like “Thing About Change”, “Overnight”, and “Along for the Ride”.

With years of experience in teaching, performing, and recording guitar, Ross realized that thousands of aspiring guitar players want to start learning but are overwhelmed by the complex nature of blues guitar improvisation.

Ross has written “Beyond Pentatonic Blues Guitar” for both intermediate and even advanced guitarists to further their knowledge and polish their skills. From elementary blues scales and chord progressions to phrasing and comprehensive blues guitar lessons about soloing, this book covers it all.

In contrast to contemporary blues music books and similar learning resources, “Beyond Pentatonic Blues Guitar” is more than just a compilation of scale and arpeggio diagrams. Ross personally demonstrates each lesson included in the book, explaining in great detail how each technique should be performed. The book also includes numerous backing tracks, a host of blues licks, and examples that further simplify each covered concept.

Within 24 hours of its release, “Beyond Pentatonic Blues Guitar” had taken the #1 best seller spot on two amazon book charts – ‘blues music’ and ‘guitars’ – internationally. It continues to hold the top position on these charts in the UK, the US and in several other nations.

More information about Ross Campbell is available on his official Amazon store page.
