Rising Artist Isheen S. Lites Displays Ambition and Raw Talent in West Philadelphia

Isheen has been drawing and painting for most of his life, with 28 years of drawing experience and 25 years of painting experience. He has dedicated himself to perfecting his craft, and his hard work and determination have paid off. Despite facing obstacles such as a lack of resources, Isheen has been known to donate blood just to buy art supplies. He is committed to his art and only accepts art commissions from the most emotionally-charged individuals.

West Philadelphia may not be the best environment, but it has shaped Isheen into the person he is today. He believes that “a number 2 pencil and a dream can take you anywhere,” and he has put that belief into action. Isheen walks to and from both his schools every day, determined to achieve his goals and make a difference in the world. He even ran for Pennsylvania’s 3rd Congressional District, but his campaign fell apart due to the outbreak of COVID-19. Despite this setback, Isheen remains determined and is currently replanning his next big moves.

Isheen’s artwork is a reflection of his experiences and his passion for art. He creates pieces that are emotionally-charged, capturing the essence of his thoughts and feelings. His unique style and approach to art have earned him recognition from those who appreciate his work, but he has yet to receive widespread recognition from the art world.
