Marcode bolsters Rakuten Advertising’s affiliate link protection by combatting keyword bidding and cookie insertion

Rakuten Advertising, the leading affiliate marketing network, announced a partnership with Marcode to safeguard its network against link hijackers. With the help of Marcode’s Brand Protection module, Rakuten Advertising will better protect brand keywords in Rakuten Advertising’s publisher network from link hijackers, fraudsters, and trademark infringers.

Marcode’s analysis engine can reveal affiliate details hidden within fraudulent websites, detect and bypass link cloaking platforms, and accelerate the takedown of fraudulent affiliates. With Marcode’s comprehensive search intelligence data, Rakuten Advertising can better protect its clients with improved detection of anomalies in difficult-to-monitor, niche subnetworks.
