Prompt Plumbing Portishead Awarded as the Plumber of the Year by the Bristol Plumbers and Drains Association.

Prompt Plumbing Portishead have been the great recipients of the award and with wonder and joy that we are able to advertise that we have received plumber of the year by the Bristol Plumbers and Drains Association.

This prestigious award offered by the  Bristol Plumbers and Drains Association is a coveted prize which looks at the range of work being carried out by local plumbers and looks to make the award on several strict plumbing criteria.

The prize enables the plumbing prize-winner to use the much sought after title of Bristol Plumbers and Drains Association plumber  of the year. This has been a prize given since 1980 and was started by the veteran plumber Tom White who was dedicated to improving plumbing standard across the industry. Only 12 plumbing companies have been lucky enough to win the prize and not many plumbers would miss the opportunity to even be nominated.

Richard Tite of Bristol Plumbers and Drains Association said that it was with great pleasure he was able to make the award and commented that many plumbers had been nominated but Prompt Plumbing Portishead were so far ahead in terms of quality and customer satisfaction that they had to choose the clear winner.

Receiving the award Gregory Isaacs said he would remember this day for the rest of his career and saw the coveted award as one of the happiest days in the plumbing business history. Commenting on the prize and the hard work the plumbers completed, he thanked all the plumbers and their plumbers’ mates for the team work and quality of plumbing that allowed the prize to be taken. He mentioned that it was only possible due to the hard work and effort from everyone at all levels that allowed such an award to be won within three years of being nominated.

Asked if he would be entering for Bristol Plumbers and Drains Association plumbers award in 2023 he replied that it would be one of the main goals in the coming years to try and hold the award title for as long as possible due to the reflection the award would have in the eyes of customers and business rivals.

The award was handed to Mr Isaacs at the luxurious Tolwood Court which hosts the annual awards ceremony and the guests and plumbers who were invited enjoyed a night of gourmet cuisine and fine wine. All plumbing companies were invited by Bristol Plumbers and Drains Association to apply next year if they wished to try for the award in the following year.
