Panopto Releases a New Technology Plugin Integration for Q-SYS

The new plugin allows users to expand capabilities, simplify workflows, and effectively meet evolving communication and collaboration needs

Panopto, the global leader in AI-powered video content management solutions (VCMS) for higher education and workforce training announces its new Q-SYS plugin integration. As a contributor to the Q-SYS Ecosystem, Panopto collaborated with Q-SYS to create a market-ready control solution that integrates seamlessly into Q-SYS, a cloud-manageable audio, video, and control platform.

Panopto worked closely with Q-SYS who fully vetted and endorsed the Panopto Plugin for Q-SYS with a Q-SYS Certified badge. The Panopto Plugin allows users to manage their video streaming and recording with ease. Users can enter their Panopto credentials and select their remote recorder ID to connect to the recorder instance. The plugin displays the connection status to the remote recorder and allows users to view upcoming recording schedules, as well as create new recordings. Users can start recording sessions, whether scheduled or ad-hoc, stop sessions, monitor recording status, and extend sessions, if needed. This plugin aims to provide a comprehensive solution for managing Panopto streams and recordings directly from the Q-SYS Platform.
