NHU Attended the International Conference on Green Chemistry to Explore Pathways for Sustainable Growth

On November 20th, NHU held a kickoff meeting for its trade secret protection and data security project to enhance the safeguarding of trade secrets and preserve its innovative achievements. The meeting was attended by Vice Chairman and President Mr. Hu Baishan, Vice Presidents Mr. Shi Guanqun and Mr. Wang Xuewen, along with leaders from relevant departments, bases, and business units. Also present were Mr. Li Pengcheng, General Manager of Huawei Cloud Zhejiang, Mr. Nie Jiangfeng, General Manager of Government and Enterprise Affairs, Shaoxing Business Department of Huawei Zhejiang, and the project team. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Liying, Vice President of NHU.

During the meeting, Mr. Hu Baishan, stressed the critical importance of trade secret protection and urged focused efforts to ensure substantial investment in the cooperation project between NHU and Huawei, aiming to set a benchmark for success. He emphasized that our work should be grounded in business operations and integrated with advanced technology to strengthen the technological depth and preventive measures of confidentiality efforts. Additionally, he highlighted the need for the project team to continue monitoring progress and improving the system. He further pointed out that protecting trade secrets is a key responsibility for all management and employees, urging them to take the project seriously, fully support its implementation, and provide relevant training and awareness campaigns to ensure smooth execution. Finally, he encouraged the team to learn from Huawei’s experience during the project’s implementation, enhancing trade secret protection awareness and improving risk management capabilities.

Mr. Li Pengcheng emphasized that both NHU and Huawei are innovative enterprises, making it crucial to establish a robust system to protect their trade secrets and innovative achievements. The Huawei team will leverage its expertise to support the implementation of the project, and he hopes that both parties can align thoughts and work together to ensure the successful and efficient rollout of the trade secret protection system.

Professor Yang Zhi, Vice President of the Research Institute of NHU, presented the document titled “Notice on the Establishment of the Leading Group and Working Group for Trade Secret Protection and Data Security Projects”.

Zhou Yang, Huawei Cloud Consulting Project Director, and Si Changwei, Project Manager, gave a comprehensive overview of the project’s background, objectives, and implementation plan.

Strengthening trade secret protection is a key strategy for preserving the NHU’s core competitiveness and ensuring its long-term growth. We will leverage this collaboration as an opportunity to enhance our trade secret management and improve data security protection. At the same time, stricter preventive measures will be implemented to combat any illegal activities that violate trade secrets, safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of NHU and ensuring the healthy and orderly development of the industry.
