MetaRouter Appoints Jeremy King as Formal Advisor to Accelerate Delivering Value in Retail Media and AI-Ready Data Infrastructure

Former CTO of Pinterest, Walmart, and eBay brings deep technology expertise as MetaRouter expands its data foundation for retail media

MetaRouter, the leader in enterprise-grade customer data infrastructure, is excited to announce the appointment of Jeremy King as a formal advisor. Jeremy is a world class technology leader, previously serving as the CTO of Walmart, SVP and CTO at Pinterest and is currently on the Board at Wayfair. King’s strategic guidance will help MetaRouter support some of the largest B2C enterprises as they work to take control of and effectively leverage their consumer data in a privacy-safe and compliant manner. Additionally, Jeremy’s expertise in scaling AI will help MetaRouter customers safely use their first-party data in LLMs and other AI applications.

King’s experience building out market-leading Retail Media Networks (RMNs) will play a key role in his partnership with MetaRouter. RMNs are reimagining how brands engage consumers at the point of purchase, offering retailers and advertisers a powerful way to collaborate and deliver measurable outcomes. Jeremy previously led the technology development of Walmart’s ad business, WMX (now known as Walmart Connect). His experience building Walmart’s customer data infrastructure, including components very similar to MetaRouter, will be invaluable to other retailers worldwide.

MetaRouter provides the critical data foundation that powers first-party audiences in retail media, both onsite and offsite. For example, one top-five U.S. RMN increased offsite ROAS by 30–200% across multiple campaigns using MetaRouter’s technology.

“MetaRouter’s platform is essential for companies to unlock the full potential of AI and monetization in a privacy-first way,” said King. “I’m looking forward to contributing my expertise in scaling technology organizations and leveraging data-driven product strategies to help MetaRouter accelerate its leadership in this dynamic and rapidly evolving space.”

Nikhil Raj, President of MetaRouter, commented, “Jeremy’s appointment marks a pivotal moment as we expand our ability to help our retail, financial services and other consumer businesses with their AI use cases. His proven expertise in building scalable teams and innovative products at Walmart, Pinterest and eBay aligns perfectly with MetaRouter’s vision and mission to help our customers realize the value of their consumer data via data monetization and retail media. With Jeremy’s guidance, we will continue to equip retailers and brands with the best-in-class data infrastructure to drive growth.”

King’s role as an advisor further solidifies MetaRouter’s position as a critical partner for retailers and brands looking to navigate the complexities of AI and retail media and maximize the results of their advertising investments.
