Google Fiber is looking for suppliers – here’s how your business could cash in

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Google Fiber is looking for suppliers, launching a public appeal this week for companies to provide a variety of goods and services as the company continues to expand its high-speed network.

The company recently announced plans to offer higher-speed internet services. Now it’s seeking help in supporting further growth.

“From on-site catering to technical operations, there are roles for lots of companies in bringing super fast internet to the world,” a spokesperson says.

Fast, faster: Google Fiber more than doubles speed of its internet service

Needed suppliers fall into three categories:

  • Technical operations
  • Indirect goods and services
  • Direct materials and supply chain

“Bringing high quality internet to the masses doesn’t happen without incredible partners. Our team of suppliers provide us with everything from technical operations to on-site catering to marketing services and far beyond. Simply put: We couldn’t do what we do without them,” wrote GF’s Nolan Klenow in a blog.
