CARY – Some changes that many players reportedly have requested are coming to the next version of Fortnite.

“Ranked” options for Battle Royale and Zero Build are on the way, the Fortnite team at Cary-based Epic Games announced over the weekend.

“You’ve long been leveling up in Fortnite Battle Royale — now it’s almost time to rank up. Starting in Fortnite v24.40, Battle Royale and Zero Build will each have a Ranked option! Enable Ranked and begin your journey of reaching “Silver,” “Gold,” “Platinum,” or beyond,” the blog post reads.
