From Direct Sales to Sui: Armon Anderson’s Story of Resilience, Growth, and Innovation

I’m a husband, father of 1-year-old twins, and someone who’s spent the last two decades crafting a journey that blends personal growth, business, and the world of crypto. My path started at the age of 12 in direct sales, where I quickly learned that the true value in the industry wasn’t the product — it was the people. The opportunity to create both time and financial freedom was the obvious reward, but what truly captivated me was the personal growth that came alongside it.

During my early years, I was fortunate enough to be mentored by some of the best in the business, like Tony Robbins, Les Brown, and Bob Proctor. Their teachings shaped my worldview, instilling in me the core principles of leadership, the law of attraction, and the mindset that “what you think about, you bring about.” This shift in thinking was a game-changer and helped me build movements and lead global teams united by the mission of creating financial and personal health.

After seven years of “failing forward” in direct sales, I realized that the real power wasn’t just about selling a product; it was about building trust and inspiring belief in a mission. I learned how to create a community of like-minded individuals and unite them through live events and seminars. This ability to foster connection became one of my greatest strengths, and I soon pivoted to focus on self-love. In my mid-20s, I branded myself as “Mr. Self Love,” authored my first book Selflovology: Your Journey to Self-Love Starts Here, and devoted myself to content creation, coaching, and empowering others to love themselves and create healthy relationships.

But my life took an unexpected turn when a severe back injury forced me to step away from my coaching career. For over a year, I was sidelined, unable to walk properly or sit. This long period of recovery became a pivotal chapter, where I redefined my purpose and began seeking new avenues to make an impact. During this time, I turned my focus to cryptocurrency and blockchain, and after much research, I discovered Sui Network— a platform that resonated deeply with me.

What drew me to Sui wasn’t just the innovative tech or the unique programming language, but their vision for long-term, sustainable growth. With a team coming from Meta and a clear focus on utility, Sui represented a new frontier where real-world brands could flourish, and crypto ecosystems could scale. This made it the perfect foundation for the next chapter of my journey.

In March of this year, I officially launched Toilet Dust, with the intention of bringing retail to the blockchain. As part of this initiative, I also launched Bored Toilet Club, an NFT project designed to connect users, create value, and foster community. I’ve always believed that people first come to crypto via memes, but they stay for solid utility. Projects like Walrus, Deep, and DeLorean Labs are excellent examples of the types of utility that will retain users long-term. My vision is to unite the Sui ecosystem around this goal and create a vibrant, sustainable community that draws in retail and new users from all walks of life.

But I’m not just talking about building a business; I’m talking about building a movement. In the coming months, I plan to launch guerrilla marketing campaigns that will not only bring awareness to the Sui Network but will also create a wave of excitement and momentum that’ll propel the entire ecosystem forward. My commitment is to relentlessly pursue this goal until we open the door for millions of new users and brands to experience everything Sui has to offer.

Above all, my story is driven by one core belief: Success is about resilience. No matter the obstacles, whether in life, business, or health, I’ve learned that true success is about staying the course. The same commitment that inspired me to build communities in the past is now fueling my drive to help build something incredible on the Sui Network.

The journey is just beginning, and I won’t stop until we’ve achieved what we set out to do.
