Former Colorado Springs Police Sergeant Joins Tranquility AI as Director of Investigations

Tranquility AI, a leading provider of investigative technology solutions, announced that Andrew Rutter has joined the company as Director of Investigations. In this role, Mr. Rutter will work directly with law enforcement agencies and prosecution offices nationwide to help maximize the impact of Tranquility AI’s flagship product, TimePilot. By harnessing artificial intelligence to organize and analyze vast amounts of digital evidence, TimePilot empowers investigators to rapidly surface critical evidence, build detailed case timelines, and accelerate the path to justice.

“Having experienced firsthand the strain investigators face with massive digital evidence and limited resources, I know the difference the right technology can make,” said Mr. Rutter.

Before joining Tranquility AI, Mr. Rutter spent nearly 15 years in civilian law enforcement following five years of military service as a U.S. Marine Corps Military Police Officer. While in the Marine Corps, he served two deployments to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, developing operational expertise in high-pressure environments that shaped his investigative approach.

In 2022, he was promoted to Sergeant, where he guided and mentored a team of high-performing patrol officers.

“Andrew’s career reflects his unwavering commitment to public service, from his deployments as a Marine in Iraq to his leadership roles in Colorado law enforcement,” said Jim Penrose, CEO of Tranquility AI. “His deep understanding of the challenges investigators face in managing digital evidence, along with his dedication to leveraging advanced technology to streamline workflows, makes him an invaluable asset to the agencies we serve with TimePilot.”
