Actress Wendy Wilkins makes her directorial debut in the latest crime-thriller feature film, “Death on the Border,” inspired by true events. The film, led by actors Eric Roberts, Danny Trejo, and Shannon Elizabeth, tells the narrative of two women who risk their lives to save teenage sex traffic victims.

She was always drawn to the entertainment industry growing up; she also became a cop at the age of 19. Wendy moved to London to study at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art before relocating to Los Angeles, California, and continuing to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Her latest film, “Death on the Border,” is inspired by events from Wilkins career as a cop while bringing great awareness to the importance of trafficking and domestic violence.
