eBakery references – Online shop NRDNY successfully converted to Shopify

NRDNY is seeing massive improvements thanks to successful migration to Shopify with the help of eBakery

With the rapid pace of digitization, a lot of online businesses are struggling to manage growth. This was a predicament that the online store, nrdny-norderney.de (NRDNY), was grappling with as well. As the leading online shop for all Norderney-based products, its initial well-functioning shop solution was no longer sufficient to meet the rising demand. This had started to affect its performance and the company’s overall bottom line. This is where the Shopify experts from eBakery made a difference. They helped the management to migrate from their outdated system to Shopify so they could focus on growing their sales instead of worrying about technical issues with the system.

eBakery helped its project manager Arne Richter and his team at NRDNY to move their shop to Shopify to overcome their constraints. The eBakery team led by its CEO Mohamed Ali Oukassi worked with them to create the perfect Shopify template as well as optimize the shop. Thanks to over a decade of experience in the field of shop migration, the implementation went without any complications and got completed in a relatively short period.

With the new Shopify-based shop, NRDNY is now well-equipped for the coming challenges in e-commerce. Moreover, since Shopify is continuously being developed, there is no technical need to change the shop system in the next few years.

With the store, NRDNY will be able to meet the needs of its visitors and provide them with a great customer experience. The site gets a lot of traffic from customers looking to find clothing with which they can show their love for Norderney, as well as accessories to bring a piece of Norderney into their own homes. Other products listed on the site range from Inselstoff Pilsener and Pinot Gris to unusual gin and rum variations. There are also Norderney products from the island’s well-known restaurants with culinary delights, like the curry sauce from the Weisse Düne.

Talking about his experience working with eBakery, the project manager Arne Richter, as one of the references from NRDNY said, “The Shopify experts from eBakery gave me good advice right from the start and supported me extensively with their know-how during the conversion of the shop. With our newly established online offer, we see ourselves optimally prepared for the future.”

Since the conversion, NRDNY can now benefit from uncomplicated processing in the backend, quick and uncomplicated product maintenance, smooth integration of apps and extensions, and overall ease of use for its staff.

Speaking on the occasion, CEO of eBakery, Mohamed Ali Oukassi said, “Shopify is a cloud-based online shop system that is growing in popularity worldwide and helps online businesses improve efficiency and profitability. Like NRDNY we want to continue to help lots of small online retailers and large companies alike to benefit from the strengths of the system.”
