Din Tai Fung Introduces New Menu Item Chicken Xiao Long Bao – A Classic, Reinvented

LOS ANGELES – March 1, 2023 – World-famous dumpling house Din Tai Fung announced it is adding Chicken Xiao Long Bao to its current lineup of authentic Chinese fare. This new take on a traditional favorite features fresh chicken, ground in-house daily, mixed with sweet carrots, celery and hints of aromatic ginger and green onion. The dumplings are steamed and served in a traditional bamboo basket.

Xiao Long Bao, Din Tai Fung’s signature dish, are made in-house daily. Premium ingredients are tucked by hand into a delicate dumpling skin, carefully weighed and folded exactly 18 times – a Golden Ration that takes dumpling chefs months of training to master. This newest offering, alongside long-standing favorites like Kurobuta Pork Xiao Long Bao, Spicy Wontons and house-made noodles, continues the brand’s legacy of combining traditional Chinese flavors with premium ingredients and meticulous craftsmanship. 

Chicken Xiao Long Bao is now available across all US locations.
