Creative Enzymes Introduces Cloning Enzymes for Molecular Biology Research

New York, USA – December 26, 2022 – Creative Enzymes, an excellent supplier and manufacturer located in New York, is always hammering away at research and trials in order to provide customers with a comprehensive line of enzyme services and products. With the aim of developing efficient enzyme tools to better support customer research, Creative Enzymes now provides cloning enzymes for its global customers.

Molecular cloning involves making copies of DNA segments, thus elucidating the study of manipulation. Most commonly, cloning is accomplished by inserting one or a few DNA segments of interest (also known as inserts) into the circular and self-replicating DNA pieces (also known as plasmid vectors). When the ligated plasmid/insert is introduced into bacteria, the circular plasmid/insert replicates itself and creates hundreds of identical clonal per cell.

To initiate the reaction, DNA restriction enzymes are used to recognize and digest plasmid vectors and inserts at specific nucleotide sequences so that they can be easily joined together by the DNA ligase for further recombinant DNA production.

Here are some featured cloning enzymes that Creative Enzymes support:

HiFi Pfu DNA Polymerase

HiFi Pfu DNA Polymerase is an engineered version of Pfu DNA Polymerase with enhanced yield and higher fidelity. It also possesses the 3′-5′ proofreading exonuclease activity.

Taq DNA Polymerase

Taq DNA Polymerase is purified from E. coli expressing a cloned DNA polymerase from Thermus aquaticus, which consists of a single polypeptide with a molecular weight of approximately 94 kDa.

GC Enhancer

GC enhancer should be used with DNA polymerase to optimize PCR from complex templates, including GC-rich templates; The storage concentration is 10×, and the working concentration can be adjusted between 0.5×-5×.

PCR doping

PCR Stimulants can be used to upregulate the sensitivity and specificity of GC/AT-rich templates or complex templates, especially for Pfu enzymes. The stock solution concentration is 5×, and the working concentration can vary from 0.5×-2.5×.

“As one of the most reliable suppliers of enzyme reagents in the world, it is important for us to make sure that existing and potential customers can easily obtain high-quality cloning enzymes. We strive to provide our customers and partners with the latest products, services, and technical support as well as share our knowledge and expertise in the field of product development and innovation,” said the chief scientist of Creative Enzymes.
