Breaking Barriers: Making Safaris in Kenya Accessible for All

Kenya – 20th Feb, 2025 – Imagine standing on the edge of a breathtaking Kenyan safari golden savannas stretching before you, elephants wandering peacefully, and the sky ablaze with hues of sunset. Now, imagine being unable to experience this beauty simply because of physical barriers. For many individuals with disabilities, travel remains a distant dream, not because of a lack of desire, but due to inaccessible accommodations and limited resources.

Lorna Safaris is on a mission to change that. With the launch of a crowdfunding campaign to make Kenyan safaris accessible for individuals with disabilities, this initiative aims to create inclusive travel experiences where no one gets left behind.

The Cause: Travel Without Limits

In Kenya, children and adults with disabilities often face immense challenges from societal stigma to a lack of infrastructure that accommodates their needs. Families longing for adventure are often forced to choose between exploring the world and leaving a loved one behind. This campaign ensures they never have to make that choice again.
