BBAE Launches Forbes Column on Investing and Economics

BBAE, a digital investment platform offering trading and wealth management services, is proud to announce that James Early, its Chief Investment Officer, has started writing a regular column for Forbes. James’ column on behalf of BBAE features weekly insights on investing and economics that are designed to help readers make informed financial decisions.

The first article of the column, titled “Daydream Believers: Read This Before You Invest in AI,” discusses the hype surrounding the artificial intelligence (AI) industry and cautions investors about the pitfalls of investing in AI without proper research. James highlights the importance of understanding the underlying technology and its limitations, as well as the need for sound financial analysis before investing in AI companies.

James’ second article, “How Jerome Powell Killed Silicon Valley Bank,” walks through the causes of the Silicon Valley Bank implosion. Despite the title, the article focuses on Silicon Valley Bank’s asset-liability mismanagement and the present value effects that higher interest rates have on longer-duration securities.

“We’re excited to have James contribute his expertise to Forbes on behalf of BBAE,” said Barry Freeman, BBAE President and Co-founder. “His insights will help readers understand complex investing concepts and make informed financial decisions. We hope readers will find his column informative and valuable.”

James Early is a seasoned finance professional with over 25 years of experience in the industry, having held numerous senior positions across the sector. Prior to joining BBAE, he was the CEO of Stansberry China, a subsidiary of Nasdaq-listed MarketWise, and created the research department at The Motley Fool, where he served as Director of Research & Analysis.
