Adjusto today announced the launch of Adjusto Remote, an AI-native contents claims service providing field inventory and desk adjusting across the 48 continental United States.
We have to break free from simply using tech to optimize the same process. We should be asking where tech can give adjusters new capabilities. Our new tooling augments desk and field adjusters.”
— Michael Balarezo, CEO and cofounder, Adjusto
The service gives carriers another option for outsourced contents claims, particularly those that already rely on TPAs for field inventory, desk valuation or full contents assignments.

Adjusto Remote combines more than 500+ field and desk adjusters with Adjusto’s technology for inventory capture, documentation and FairMatch valuation for settlement.
“We kept hearing the same question from carriers: ‘We love the platform. Can you help us with field inventory and desk adjusting, too?’” said Michael Balarezo, CEO and co-founder of Adjusto. “They want experienced people who can get the work done quickly and accurately, while still protecting the relationship they have with their policyholders.”

What Adjusto Remote provides
– Field inventory and desk adjusting across the continental U.S.
– A network of more than 500+ adjusters
– AI-assisted video inventory and FairMatch valuation
– Faster turnaround and greater visibility into the contents process
– Carrier access to the same technology Adjusto uses for accurate and accelerated claims outcomes
That technology component is uncommon in the TPA market, where the systems used to perform outsourced claims work are often kept behind the scenes.
In a recent 11-room total-loss contents assignment, a single adjuster recorded approximately two hours and 40 minutes of video covering 1,765 inventory items. Adjusto’s platform processed the documentation and produced valuation recommendations in approximately seven minutes.
Balarezo said the broader opportunity is to rethink how technology supports adjusters and policyholders. “We have to break free from simply using technology to optimize the same process,” he said. “You’ll eventually hit a limit. We should be asking where technology can give adjusters new capabilities, and this can require us to rethink how the work was originally done. Our new tooling augments desk and field adjusters with AI to improve their experience, as well as the policyholders’.”
